Confirmation is more than just a step to “check off” in your faith, it is the moment when you, as a young disciple, step boldly into your own relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. In Baptism, the seed of faith was planted in you, but in Confirmation that seed is strengthened, sealed, and unleashed through the power of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament is not the end of your religious education, it is the beginning of your mission. It equips you with gifts, wisdom, courage, understanding, and more, that prepare you to face the challenges of life with the strength of God Himself living in you.
Why does this matter? Because God has chosen you for something greater. Confirmation is your “yes” to God’s call, your public declaration that you belong to Christ and are ready to live as His witness in the world. This is the launching point of your faith journey, not the finish line. It is the spark that can ignite a lifetime of purpose, love, and boldness in a world that desperately needs light. The Church is waiting, heaven is cheering, and Christ Himself is calling you to rise, this is your moment to begin.
For the second year of Confirmation preparation, we use the Chosen curriculum from Ascension Press, a dynamic and engaging program designed specifically for high school teens. Chosen goes beyond simply teaching doctrine, it invites teens to encounter Jesus personally, understand the sacraments deeply, and see how their faith applies to everyday life. With a mix of compelling videos, interactive discussions, and real-life testimonies, the program makes the faith relatable, inspiring, and exciting for young people. It equips teens not just to know about their faith, but to live it boldly, preparing them to step confidently into the Church as fully initiated disciples!CONFIRMATION PREP REQUIRMENTS:
