Chrism Mass at San Fernando Cathedral at 6:30 pm March 31st. The Archbishop will bless the three oils used in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Ordinaton to the Priesthood, and Anointing of the Sick and Dying. The people of the Archdiocese, especially those in RCIA, are invited to attend, as this is the occasion when the priests of the Archdiocese renew their commitment to their priestly vocation.
Holy Thursday, April 2: Mass of the Last Supper and Eucharistic Procession followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (Adoration Chapel) until midnight.
Good Friday, April 3: Outdoor Stations of the Cross and Last Seven Words in Spanish at 3:00pm
Good Friday, April 3: Service at 7:00 pm. Liturgy of the Word, Intercessions, Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion.
Holy Saturday, April 4: Vigil Mass at 8:30 pm, with Service of the Light, proclamation of the Word, Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion for RCIA/RCIC candidates.
**The Easter Vigil is the most beautiful and significant in our Liturgical Year. It culminates with the proclamation of our Lord's victory of his death and his Resurrection!
Easter Sunday, April 5: Masses at 8:30 and 10:30 am and 2:00 pm in Spanish.
PEDALING FOR PIO PLAN

WHO: Captain Humberto (Burt) L. Quintanilla II, USN (St Padre Pio Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree)
WHAT: Dedicating Phase II of transcontinental bicycle ride (San Antonio, Texas to St. Augustine, Florida) to a fund raising event for the construction of the Shrine of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina.
NOTE: Phase I of transcontinental bike ride (San Diego, California to San Antonio, Texas, 1,349 miles) completed in April 2014.
WHEN: Sunday 15 March to Sunday 5 April 2015
WHERE: Ride will start on Sunday 15 March 2015 after the 0830 mass, proceeding eastbound to the first overnight stop in Luling, Texas (approx. 56 miles on Day #1). Return to San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday 5 April in time to attend the Shrine of St. Padre Pio Mass @ 1030.
WHY: Personal dedication to the earliest construction of the Shrine.
HOW: All travel and logistics expenses will be carried by CAPT Quintanilla.
